We are pleased to announce that Alan Lugton, who in common with his late father and grandfather, a native of Edinburgh and ‘Hibs daft’ all his life will give a talk on ‘The Making of Hibernian’, at the next St. Pat’s Branch meeting, Thursday 20th March at 7.30 in the Hibs Club. Alan was due to speak at our January meeting however fell ill and was unable to attend. He is feeling a lot better and is looking forward to speaking to St. Patrick’s Branch Members. All his spare time over the past thirty years has been devoted to exploring and recording the history of Hibernian. Those thirty years culminated in the wonderful trilogy ‘ The Making of Hibernian’ detailing the history of Hibernian F.C. from 1875-1946. A bumper turn out for this meeting is expected.
