Hello my fellow Hibees,
Thought I would write and say how good it was to meet up at the Hearts game. The performance was a big improvement and hopefully the future could be looking ok. Yes, there is a long way to go but the signs I saw were encouraging and ever the optimist, there could be ‘Sunshine on Leith’. Not wishing to sound like a broken record, I would like to thank the lads I saw and shared a drink with afterwards. I have followed the Hibs for over 40 years and the last 30 from down south. As I travelled up from Sunderland, I was always on my own and went to the game alone. Whilst I have no problem with my own company, it is always nice to share thoughts on how the game went. Sadly, my beloved wife does not share the same passion as I do for our heroes and would just say, beat again? But I no longer have that predicament, since I joined the best Supporters Club, not only for Hibs but dare I say in Scotland. Not only did I meet fellow Supporters of Hibs, but people with a true passion for our Club. You have all made me feel welcome and special and from my point of view, I have made a whole bunch of new friends. I would like to specially thank Big G and Stevie, who keep in regular contact, you are both true gents. The banter is first class and no matter the result, I now journey South with a smile on my face.
Hope to see you all again soon. Take care and thank you all once again
